Situation

Sellers who visit website need clarity on what the app does and why they should be using the product. In that fleeting moment users need to the see and understand the value this app will add to them

 

Challenges

  • Different sellers come seeking different services

  • What would be the one single thing to appeal to all users, does it even exist?

  • As a company what did we want to tell our users about our existence and identity

 

Process

An introspection discussion on what values we stood for and what we would want our customers to think about this. This was the most difficult part of the process. Once the designs were created we did an A/B testing with various taglines. 

 

Impact

The metric being measured was the conversion of users landing on the homepage to downloading the app. That increased significantly.
