Payment Cycle
Situation
For a selling app the highest mark of credibility is when payment is done in a timely and transparent manner to the sellers who have put up their products for sale.
A seller earns by processing and fulfilling orders but there are expenditures as well such as, running FB ads or enabling premium features for which they have to pay the app.
The need was to create a flow which would be reassuring for the sellers by being transparent and easy to understand.

Process
The initial process was speaking to sellers and understanding their expectations and issues.
This was followed by defining the scope of the problem that we intended to solve.
On defining the scope there was much more clarity on what issues we intended to solve.
The scope was followed by wireframes. The feasibility of the design was then discussed with the backend technical team. Post this a mavel prototype was created and the handing over was done to the developers.
Impact
Payment related queries to customer support dropped by 72% . We also saw sellers having more trust on the product itself.
